Nevertheless, there were clashes during IT&CMA, but thankfully some distance from the exhibition proper. IT&CMA attracted 360 hosted buyers from 40 countries for the three day show, where more than 300 exhibitors showcased destinations across Asia. The quality is better, the number of appointments has improved, and it’s been quite successful. Many sellers didn’t come this year because last year wasn’t very good.” eileeN hair SPINergy Buyer “The main focus for me was to get to know more DMCs and hotel contacts and I think 80 per cent of that I’ve achieved. I’ve met DMCs from Istanbul, South Africa and Vietnam and these were the three I am seriously looking at right now. Meeting these contacts will definitely help me with future events. Overall I would give it a seven- and-a- half. And perhaps next year three days would be ideal.”
