The Meeting Planners was purchased by Tour Hosts three years ago but operated separately and competitively under its own name. Managing director of arinex, Roslyn McLeod said times have changed, with the decision to unite the two companies under the one brand occurring after a client wanted Tour Hosts and The Meeting Planners to do a joint tender. The pairing will see fully resourced offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane which Ms McLeod says will enable arinex to provide personalised service throughout Australia. “arinex is a word we created to define our vision. Established in 1980, Exhibition Hire undertook a significant acquisition program in 2008, acquiring the AE Group in February, Onsite Power & Light in August and Expo Hire in September.
